OCB supports early career participation in IMBeR ClimECO6 Summer School

Beatriz Dias is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Department of Environmental Conservation. Her work includes developing models to aid management decision making in Northeast US large marine ecosystem and Northern Brazil. And exploring different fisheries management scenarios effects on marine food webs and identifying monitoring priority areas for species of concern.

Beatriz dos Santos Dias, a Ph.D. student in environmental conservation and advisee of professor Tim Randhir, was part of a team that won second place in a water conservation competition sponsored by the Brazilian Student Association, BRASA, at its Brazilian Undergraduate Students Conference, BrazUSC 2017, held at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, on March 31.

Documentary En Clave de vida

En Clave de Vida: Is a documentary about wildlife conservation in Equatorial Guinea. This documentary was directed by Antonio Grunfeld and produced by Conservation International (CI), with partnership of Equatorial Guinea Ministry of Agriculture INDEFOR-AP, Zoological Society of London (ZSL), Amigos de la Naturaleza y Desarrollo de Guinea Ecuatorial (ANDEGE) and Centro Cultural de España in Bata. The documentary features TOMAGE, a sea turtle conservation project where I had the pleasure to work.
